A Million and One New Beginnings

First off, let me thank you so much for joining me. I realize that the fact that I'm blogging is not at all original and maybe I'll inspire someone else to do the same. I just feel that I have so many thoughts running through my mind that maybe I should share some of my crazy in hopes of helping someone else with theirs.

Before you get the wrong impression, this is not going to be a self-help blog by any means, unless the help is for me. I don’t want to take on the responsibility of someone else’s mental health and if you have had a conversation with me longer than 5 minutes, you would understand this statement. I’m a different beast. You love me or you shake your head and wonder where in the world I came from. I’ve learned to accept both so it’s all gravy over here.

    The title of this blog "Superwoman and Other Misleading Titles" derives from the fact that everyone thinks that I have it together and make things happen in this orderly and wonderfully organized fashion. Let me tell you that IT'S A LIE. I constantly amaze myself when I'm able to pull off some of these death-defying feats. It’s not some neat system that I have that makes everything amazing, it’s the fact that I have the drive to get it done. Sometimes, we think that we aren’t cut out for something because we have this road map in our mind of how the process should go. I am learning to scrap all of those ideals and just do it the way that it works for me. It may be awful to some people but it works for me and on most days that is the only thing that matters.

    This blog will cover a million and one things. It will go wherever my mind decides to go and I will be unapologetically me. You may laugh, you may become concerned, or you may cry. I can't make you any promises.  I can only guarantee you this one the thing, it will be me in my best and in my worse form. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the enigma that is Superwoman and Other Misleading Titles.
